| Great Week |
This is going to be a great week. I'm going to see the 1st African American man inaugurated as president of the United States. I can't say I never thought I would live to see the day but it looked bleak for a while in my life after 8 years of Reagan and 12 of Bushes. I'll probably be sleep by the time he gets sworn in. I'll be coming home from a night of working and usually crash out by noon. Thanks to video technology I know I'll be seeing repeats of it all year. Peace,Love,Health and Wealth to all.

I sitting here waiting for the technician to come replace the signal splitter for my cable and Internet. The appointment was set up for Thursday between 8am and 10am. It's 10:04 now. I want to go to bed since I have been up all night working.

My life
Ok it's been a while since my last blog. Time for and update.
My
new landlords are cool so far. They fixed the central air but it now is
warming up again. They just won't replace it even though they replaced
the garbage disposal that was not even broke. I found out they replaced
it while doing another repair while I was in my room sleep. My toilet
has been fixed so it no longer runs a little. They even put in a system
so the toilet uses less water. Last week the kitchen electric started
acting up. I found a living room socket shorting out. The sent an
electrician to fix it the next day.Meanwhile I shut off the breaker to
it,I certainly did not want to come home to a burnt home due to an
electrical fire.
Our client cut everyones hours at work to save
money. I like the reduced hours anyway even though I no longer do 4 10
hour shift a week. My company gives me hours at other sites to make up
for it. I'm trying to go without the 8 hours anyway. I got out of the
budget plan with the electric company since the adjustment last ear
nearly wiped out my budget. I'll do the same with the gas company soon.
If I can get by on 32 hours a week I'll do it. I also have been working
other sites that pay more while the weekend guy fills in for me since
he needs the hours and my regular site has noticed. They miss me on
those nights since I do a great job. But if they don't give me the
raises I deserve I feel I must go else where. |
