 SHOUT BOX

My story
Who am I? I'm just a person trying to reach out to the lost, hurting, unloved, addicts, suicidal, the hungry and homeless people living on the street.

I was kicked out of the house at the age of 16-17 and had to leave school to try to keep my job. I slowly began to live a life of a drug addict and drug dealer. I found myself going to prison by age of nineteen years old for burglary. After getting out of prison, it was so hard to find any good jobs. Labeled as an x-con, jail became easier and easier each time I went. I started to sell and do more drugs trying to relieve the pain of life. I even tried suicide thinking that my life was nothing. I thought gangs and friends would be my family, but all they cared about was money and themselves. One day during a drug deal, I was getting set up by the police, so I ate 3.5 grams of cocaine to get away and then the cocaine busted in my stomach. I began to overdose and die. Barely making it, I knew then I had to make a change in my life or I was going to die or end up back in prison. I stopped dealing drugs, but my addiction got worse, I became homeless and was looking for some kind of help (love) in my life, but found none.

One day I was seating in the back of the church while they sang ?Amazing Grace?. Jesus began to touch me with his love. I began to weep and crying out of control. I tried with all my might to stop crying, but I could not stop. Then I let go and asked Jesus in to my life and to forgive me for all the things I have done and all the bad things I did to people. It felt like a ton of baggage was lifted off my shoulders and I felt so much peace, love and joy. It felt like his arms were around me. Man, what a felling. I then realized he died for me on the cross and that is how much he loves me. Jesus means so much to me. I am so blessed to make it though the bad times of drugs and being homeless. I have a lovely wife and three kids (9,5,3 years old.) I am so blessed.

I know what it is to be an addict, suicidal, hungry, and homeless living on the street. Are you feeling like there is no hope? Are you feeling like there is no love in the world? I am here to tell you there is.

Jesus is your hope. Jesus will love you, please just give him a chance. All you have to do is talk to him. He is right there, waiting for you to come to him, his arms are open. He will love you and care for you. He will meet all your needs. So please ask Jesus into your heart and life. He is the answer. When Jesus was dieing on the cross he look to the heavens and said "Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do." He was loving the very people who crucifying him. He loves you so much he died for you.

Luke 6: 33-36
And if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? for even sinners love those that love them. And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? for even sinners do the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much. But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil. Be ye merciful even as your Father is merciful.
